Inspection Fees and Quotes – Out of Warranty Repairs and Service

INSPECTION FEES

We charge an inspection fee to cover the costs involved in assessing the product for quotation purposes. During the assessment process, one of our technicians will inspect your unit to establish the reason for it malfunctioning.

After the assessment has been completed, you will be provided with a quote. At acceptance of the quote a deposit amounting 50% of the value of the quote is required to continue with your repair. The inspection fee will be applied as a credit against your final invoice.

In the event of a rejected quote, the inspection fee will be used to cover admin and labour costs.

QUOTATIONS

Please note that our technicians do their level best to present you with an accurate quote, but they do sometimes find additional damage which may result in a requote, Kindly note that we do not repair items / devices that were exposed to water or any other liquid. Please inform us should you require a damage report for insurance purposes.

END OF SERVICE PRODUCTS

Technology changes at a rapid pace and some or all parts of older models may no longer be manufactured. This unfortunately only becomes known after we ordered the part. The fact that a part has become obsolete is out of our control and your understanding is appreciated.

ITEMS NOT COLLECTED

Items not collected on the event of a quote rejection, or after the completion of a repair, will be archived after 6 weeks and a fee of R180.00 will be payable to retrieve the unit. Units not collected within 6 months, become the property of Premium Brand Distributors and maybe sold to defray costs.

Units that are unrepaired, will be recycled. Kindly familiarise yourself with our standard terms and conditions; the latter is printed on all quotes
